The Daily Mail published more set photos leaked from the upcoming Warner Bros. feature Wonder Woman, and the pics confirm what we had already guessed: a significant chunk of the movie will take place in World War 2.
The Daily Mail actually claims the movie will take place during World War I, but Wonder Woman’s historical origin dates only back to World War II, and keeping that origin makes much more sense, so we’re betting they got that detail wrong.
The photos show Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman’s alter-ego Diana Prince interacting with military pilot Steve Trevor played by Chris Pine. The couple are in civilian clothes as hundreds of WW2-era soldiers swarm around them.
